We finally went and had pictures done, instead of mom taking them all.
Just a refresher, they screamed at all attempts to go have pictures done for the first 2 years of their life. They were more then cooperative this time and it was a good experience. They were done at Portrait Innovations and I paid for a disc of the pictures so I was told they could be emailed out and reprinted. I guess I won't go to jail?? The real ones of course were cropped these are raw prints..

Sorry, I can't turn them around...

Happy Halloween !!
Emma and Taylor had very fun Day. We started out with a
party at school and the candy eating began at noon. By the time the evening came we didn't need anymore candy! Thanks for all the goodies from home! Next time you can send toothpaste and $ for the dentist.... Taylor took a face first spill in the driveway last week and from the way she looked then we thought we were going to have a fat lip toothless cinderella. She looked pretty rough. Her tooth is fine and as you can see all other "boo boos" are gone. Her lip was 4x's the size and looked like it was going to explode. Bad few days. Emma and Taylor got a kids bop Monster Halloween CD and we have listened to it a million times, in the house and in the car! I told them it had to go away until until next year and as I write this they are listening to Mickey's Christmas CD!! I am sure by Thanksgiving I will have bought another!! Hard to believe it is that time of the year, especially when it is still so warm. Hope everyone had a fun Halloween, we really did!!
Brian was able to sneak away from the field to see the girls and spend the evening. He missed the last 2 years so he enjoyed it as well. Their excitement for Halloween this year makes me excited for Christmas too!

We turned our lights into ghosts and hung a few spiderwebs.
They were all about monsters this year. We can thank Scoooby Doo for that.

We knew there wouldn't be a whole lot of trick or treating in our
neighborhood so we had a little Halloween party in the driveway with Jen and Jaslyn and our next door neighbors. They were very excited to come into the garage and see a pumpkin full of treats hanging!!!

Emma and Taylor had a "Ball" twirling and making their dresses sway in the breeze.. They were most excited to use mom's hairspray and a little blush on their cheeks. As they say "cheeks on and lips on" I knew there were girly princesses inside those Dinosaur fanatics.
Quack, Quack, the cute duck is Jaslyn, my friend Jen's little girl..
Not sure how these got out of order? Just another
picture of Emma and Taylor's classroom.

Their class had a Halloween Parade/come stand on the
corner and sing a song for the mom's and dad's. It was very
cute and they were very excited to perform..

Emma and Taylor's classroom. I was 1 of 2 mom's that did their Halloween
Party. I realized I am very happy to have only two whiney, dramatic 3 yr olds instead of 14!!
Preschool teachers deserven ALOT more $$$$

Goofy Girls..
Emma and Taylor had hat day at preschool..

Just a Halloween preview.. We had a couple fun Halloween things planned this week and after months of no rain they were both rained out! We had a Flashlight Halloween egg hunt to go on. They ended up handing out a bag of eggs to each kid as they came and then we went home, boo hoo. We also had a fun filled evening planned at the Gym at the Hospital I work at. They were going to have a band, food, hayrides, pony rides, and lots of other stuff. The rain forced it to be inside and not quite as exciting. However this was the first time the "Princesses" wore their dresses. They were a crowd pleaser and loved being dressed up. Sure beats the Scooby Doo outfit they wanted to wear!! Halloween night is supposed to be nice, 70 and sunny so we'll luck out then.. Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween.

We went made a visit to a Pumpkin Farm which ended up being about an hour and a half drive! Nothing is real close here except for golf courses. It was fun though, goats, chickens, hay, and 95 degree weather!! It was a scorcher and insanely hot for Oct. MaMa and PaPa were here to enjoy. Emma and Taylor loved the animals as always and the slide. There were a couple jumping things there and taylor jumped her pants off, literally! She thought it was rather funny.
We would have stayed longer but we were all about to have a heat stroke. It had to be at least 100 with the humidity. Where is FALL!!!???

So many Pumpkins, how do we choose? They were very particular in picking, had to have a stem, nice and round but not too heavy. When we got home they painted all 6 of them. We started out with about 6 colors of paint but somehow they all ended up a funky shade of purple/gray??? They are beautiful though and sitting in the front yard....

Just a full picture of the fun slide!!!

They ran through a pint size hay maze. They were pretending to be stuck and trying to climb out. We all sneezed for a couple days after this.
There were goats and chickens and bunnies to feed and a giant 40 foot tube slide to go down.

Emma and Taylor started Preschool last week. They both have done great minus a couple tears and plee's for mom or dad to stay with them. Emma told us the second day that she was a baby and couldn't go to school. After I told her we were going to the store to buy more diapers then she changed her mind but tried to convince me that school was closed!! Taylor tried to play with another little girl (surprise, surprise) and Emma was not too happy about it. This week went very well. They were aloud to bring something for share day and of course Trex and Triceritops went to school..

We just got back from a busy trip home to Ky.
Emma and Taylor had a good time at Ma Ma's house. They like that she has a "park" in her yard (swingset). Next move we'll get one!! Swimming and unfamiliar toys to entertain. We got to see friends and family and go to
Kings Island, Totter Otterville. We also had 3 days of our Church Festival with rides and games. Below is a pic of Emma and Taylor in my favorite spot, the patio swing!!!

Swimming at Ma Ma's house. Emma and Taylor have enjoyed swimming more this year and doing it more independently !!!! Makes it possible for me to take them to the pool by myself . Emma is a little too fearless, wanting in without swimmies, or "bloaties" as they call them.

We went to Kings Island and had a great time. Emma and Taylor love the rides and even braved a couple new ones this year. The giggle coaster (very small roller coaster), the log floom, and Scooby Doo's haunted ride. Swiper's ride was a favorite (picture). It whipps you around the ends and "tickles your belly" so we hear.
What's everyone looking at? This is Hollywood right???
VROOOOOMMMMMMMM....

They braved the Scooby Doo Haunted House and posed in the Mystery Machine afterwards.
Scooby made an appearence for pictures.
You should never stand too close to a 7ft dog.

The Log Floom there is Wild Thornberry's theme and there is an elephant at the end that sprays water at you. They saw the elephant and got excited to ride not knowing there was a hill to go down. They were emotionless on the way down and stiff as a board but laughed and enjoyed it after it was over. They told dad that they rode in a big STICK. Their first Big ride.....

Golfing on Pinehurst #7.
They last about 9 holes and then are done. It was pretty hot this day too. Future pro golfers.

With Dad on the tee box..
Cookies and a ride on the golf cart...
The back 9 usually consists of me driving them around and watching dad finish. This day we were on a Safari and found lots of wild animals in the trees. You wouldn't believe the variety of wildlife in Pinehurst. Jaguars, tigers, elephants, monkeys, oh and the penguins in 100 degree weather... Everyone can rest, we found all the babies and got them back to their mommies.
